MOOCs: bringing knowledge to the masses
If you’ve always wanted to know more about Greek sculpture, electromagnetism, or the basics of innovative design, why not sign up for one of PSL’s MOOCs? Free and open to everyone, with no set hours, MOOCs are courses taught in the form of online videos by professors from institutions including ENS, EHESS, and the Observatoire de Paris.
They last 6 to 8 weeks on average, generally require 2 to 3 hours of work a week from students, and offer opportunities to interact with the professor and other students.
Whether you are a current student, a professional seeking new skills, or simply curious, these courses are a wonderful opportunity to learn.
As part of its policy of educational innovation, PSL actively supports the development of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) by allocating special funding to the creation of digital content. Our instructor/researchers have access to a range of facilities that includes two permanent recording studios, at Paris-Dauphine and MINES Paris - PSL, as well as a mobile studio and editing unit at EnsAD-Paris.
Thanks to BLOGSPOC PSL, students, educators and researchers at PSL can acquire the skills they need to create a blog they can use to highlight their expertise or promote a student and/or professional activity.
By watching videos and activities online, participants in this SPOC (Small Private Online Course) will learn everything they need to know in order to set up a blog, optimize social media to generate more traffic, find information to use as content, produce visuals to make their blog more appealing and manage the team behind a collective blogging project.
How do you participate in PSL BLOGSPOC?
