After Kant. Investigations on the transcendental schema doctrine

Le Vaticinateur, Giorgio de Chirico

In each session of this seminar dedicated to the Kantian concept of transcendental schema, the audience will be offered the opportunity, from the texts, to approach a concept and a precise issue in Kant's work which is part of the main theme and to study its critique and re-elaboration from another thinker.

This seminar aims to define a certain number of issues that have arisen with the Kantian notion of the transcendental schema, while trying to show how its influence on philosophy has been lasting and how it can even be considered today as a fertile horizon in philosophical research. In each session, we suggest, starting from texts, to approach a concept and a precise issue in Kant's work which is part of the main theme and to study its critique and re-elaboration in another thinker.
