Discover the richness and the quality of the training  courses at Observatoire de Paris - PSL

For the first time, the student council of the Observatoire de Paris - PSL organizes this year a presentation of the available training courses.

Designed to let students discover the richness and quality of the training courses, this event includes two highlights:

• presentation of the 6 courses (SUTS Master's: AA, DSG, OSAE, PES and the University Diplomas, ECU and SU),
• session of spontaneous discussion between students and speakers from the world of astronomy, who join this special event and will answer the questions and concerns of young people in their choice of education.

Planning of the chat rooms in the afternoon:

• Room 1: joining the world of astronomy in 2021 - from training to permanent position: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Meeting with the students of the Master's Degree in Astro at Observatoire de Paris - PSL 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Feedback from researchers and post-doctoral fellows.
• Room 2: After the Master's degree - jobs in space sciences: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: "Astronomy: at the crossroads between research and instrumentation" 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: "Opportunities after training in astronomy".
• Room 3:  The doctorate in astronomy - from application to defense: 14h - 14h40: "Find a Dissertation in France and abroad" - 14h40 - 15h20: "Tips for a good and pleasant dissertation" 15h20 - 16h: "Possible scenarios after a dissertation".
