Jean de La Fontaine, studied by Michel Serres

On June 2, a posthumous unpublished work by Michel Serres, dedicated to La Fontaine, will be published by Éditions Le Pommier. On this occasion and as part of the Quartier du livre festival, Jean-Charles Darmon, director of the Literature and Language Department at the ENS-PSL, together with Frédéric Worms, deputy director of the ENS-PSL, and in partnership with the Fondation Michel Serres-Institut de France, is organizing a meeting about this book.

Bringing together philosophers and literary critics, this event will outline the importance of the book, both for the understanding of La Fontaine's work, and for that of Michel Serres' thought. These speeches take place via videoconference and includes readings of fables and excerpts from M. Serres' book.
