Camille Schmoll, a geographer, is the guest of the "Mardis de Jourdan" to present her latest book Les damnées de la mer - Femmes et frontières en Méditerranée.

The Jourdan Tuesdays seminar series is a regular discussion forum that invites researchers from the various social science disciplines represented on the Jourdan campus of the ENS - PSL, also integrating environmental concerns.

Camille Schmoll, geographer, teaches at the University of Paris. A member of the Institut Universitaire de France, the Institut Convergences Migrations and the Géographie-Cités laboratory, she founded, with Hélène Thiollet and Virginie Guiraudon, the International Group of Experts on Migration (GIEM). She will present her latest book, Les damnées de la mer - Femmes et frontières en Méditerranée, published by Éditions La Découverte.

The presentation will be conducted by Pauline Guinard (geographer, ENS/LABO), the discussion by Johanna Siméant-Germanos (researcher in politics, ENS/CMH) and Camille Hémet (economist, ENS/PSE)
