Policies of disorder: policing demonstrations in France

The Jourdan Tuesdays seminar series is a regular opportunity for discussion, with the invitation of researchers from the various social science disciplines present on the Jourdan campus of the ENS - PSL, and also integrate environmental issues. For this session, Olivier Fillieule, professor of political sociology at the Institut d'études politiques (IEP) of the University of Lausanne, and Fabien Jobard, director of research at the CNRS (Cesdip) and director of the Groupement européen de recherches sur les normativités (GERN), have been invited to present their latest book, Politiques du désordre - La police des manifestations en France, published by Éditions du Seuil.
