Mercury, Venus and Mars: terrestrial planets, yet not Earths

While the four terrestrial planets of our solar system share a relatively similar global composition between them, which radically radically differs from giant planets or other external icy objects, they are nevertheless quite different in their appearance, their geology, their mineralogy and their atmosphere. These differences are the result of their own formation and evolution over the last 4.6 billion years. The seminar will present our current knowledge about Mercury, Venus and Mars and our understanding of their evolution.
