Paul Langevin: a committed scientist

Affiche Paul Langevin, un savant engagé

Paul Langevin was a graduate, then a teacher, then a director of studies and then a director of the ESPCI Paris - PSL. On the occasion of his 150th birthday, a day is dedicated to study his work and life.

On November 10, the ESPCI Paris - PSL is organizing a day dedicated to Paul Langevin, on the occasion of his 150th birthday, with the support of the Outreach Department of Université PSL. This is an opportunity to revisit the titanic scientific work of the man who was first a graduate then a teacher,
Some of the presentations are based on the study of the Langevin Fund, a collection of documents donated by the family to the school's Historical Resource Center, and digitized by Université PSL.
