Throughout November and December, the Paris Student Disability Support Unit is rolling out a range of initiatives designed to raise awareness about disability, provide support to students, and foster greater inclusion within student life. From awareness-raising workshops and social gatherings (“Hapéros”) to professional networking events and training sessions for student associations—discover the upcoming activities and initiatives to share within your own institutions!
November and December will be particularly busy months for the Paris Student Disability Support Unit (Cellule d’entraide étudiante handicap) of PSL!
The agenda includes disability awareness initiatives across several PSL institutions, notably during the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities and PSL Week. Two informal "Hapéros" (social gatherings) will also offer students the chance to connect while exploring practical and creative topics—specifically, exam preparation on November 19 and the end-of-year holiday season on December 3.
The Unit will also host sessions for discussion and guidance, including a "Handicafé" on December 1 at the Centre Mazet, designed to facilitate networking between students with disabilities and professionals.
Finally, student associations will have the opportunity to receive training on disability-related issues and earn the "100% Handinamique" label, helping them make their activities and events more accessible to everyone. These sessions will take place on December 5 and January 23, 2027.
