expo_mazet.png

As part of two exhibitions dedicated to intersex issues at the Centre Mazet, discover the history and lived experiences of intersex people through a performance reading of Clémentine Delait’s memoirs, followed by a discussion with Loé Petit, a specialist in intersex history.

Two exhibitions are currently on display at the Centre Mazet, inviting visitors to explore the journeys and stories of intersex individuals.

The exhibition "Mon histoire intersexe" (My Intersex Story) gives a voice to intersex people from various countries through personal accounts of their lived experiences. Meanwhile, the exhibition *Clémentine Delait, femme à barbe* (Clémentine Delait, Bearded Woman) revisits the life of this famous historical figure, offering a different perspective on the history of intersex people.

On November 6, drag king Artémis Folle will present a performance reading of excerpts from Clémentine Delait’s memoirs. This will be followed by a discussion with Loé Petit, a specialist in intersex history and founder of the *Collectif Intersexe Activiste*.

The event will provide an opportunity to delve deeper into the themes of historical representation, narratives, and the lived experiences of intersex people.
