From October 9 to December 10, fanzines will take over Mazet. Combining passion, commitment, and freedom, these artisanal and independent objects reveal unique voices that express themselves outside of traditional media.

Born from the contraction of "fanatic magazine," the fanzine is a handcrafted and collective adventure. Initially driven by passionate amateurs, it has transformed over the decades into a unique space, where artistic experimentation, activist stances, and scientific approaches intersect. A true creative laboratory, it remains a tool for sharing and free expression, outside the mainstream.

The "Fanzines at the University" exhibition invites visitors to discover a rich collection, bringing together fanzines from all walks of life, some of which were created especially for the occasion. It features artists' work, activist creations, and scientific outreach materials, demonstrating the diversity of this unique medium.

Following the opening planned for October 9, the fanzines will remain on display at Mazet until December 10. This is an extended opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of these free and inventive publications, and to appreciate all their richness and vitality.
