This is the second lecture of the series of four given by Patricia Birchler Emery (University of Geneva), on the theme "The Cypriot city-kingdoms: regional styles and identity issues".

Patrizia Birchler Emery is a lecturer in Classical Archaeology at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and curator of the Ostraca Collection in the University's collections. Her main areas of research concern Cyprus in the Iron Age, particularly its ceramic production, the techniques of Greek ceramic manufacture and the transition between the Neolithic and the Early Helladic in the Argolid.
