  • Round Table: “Understanding anti-gender movements in France and Europe”
Table ronde LGBTphobie

Take part in a round table and discussion on anti-gender movements in France and Europe, followed by a friendly aperitif at the Mazet Center on May 21.

May 17, World Day Against LGBTphobia, marks the day homosexuality was removed from the list of mental illnesses (1990). Ten years after equal marriage, movements continue to fight against respect for the human rights of gender and sexual minorities. PSL is committed to marking this day with a reflection on the nature and evolution of these movements and the consequences of their actions on the experiences of LGBTI+ people.

The round table will be held at the Mazet Center on May 21 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will be a valuable opportunity to discuss with experts on LGBTI+ issues and the anti-gender and LGBTphobic movements which continue to mobilize the current public debate.

Speakers:
Loé Petit, researcher. se and activist,
Lexie Agresti author and activist,
Ruby Faure, researcher in queer/trans studies
Sasha Yaropolskaya, Russian exile and activist at Du Pain et des Roses.

After the round table, an aperitif buffet will allow discussions to continue during a more convivial moment.

Join us on May 21 at the Mazet Center for a moment of reflection, sharing and mobilization!
