As part of the SACRe meeting, a monthly program dedicated to the dialogue between research and creation, the Fémis welcomes Marcus Lindeen, a Swedish writer, director and producer based in Paris.
Trained as a radio journalist and stage director, Marcus Lindeen's plays and films are based on extensive research and interviews. Since his debut in 2006 with the play and documentary film Regretters, he has directed four films and seven plays. At the same time, he is currently conducting a research & creation dissertation at Stockholm University of the Arts on the use of conversation as a format for staging theater. Marcus Lindeen is an associate artist at Piccolo Teatro in Milan.
Marianne Ségol-Samoy is a translator and playwright, and is, with Marcus Lindeen, associate artist at the Comédie de Caen, CDN de Normandie. Together, they run the Wild Minds theater company, based in Paris.
During this meeting, Marcus Lindeen will talk about the "Trilogy of identities", three plays presented in October at the T2G as part of the Autumn Festival in Paris. He will question the forms of this documentary theater and its cpnnection with a research approach.
