Solar Punk Art Competition

The Mazet Centre is hosting a group exhibition dedicated to Solar Punk, Hope Punk, and, more broadly, to artistic and literary movements that imagine a future where technology, nature, and solidarity are reconciled. In contrast to the dystopias that often dominate science fiction, these visions offer an optimistic, sustainable, and inclusive perspective on our future. They lie at the intersection of social and environmental struggles, promoting lifestyles based on equality, renewable energy, ecological architecture, and cooperation between communities.

As part of this exhibition, PSL University is organizing a major art competition, open to all students from member and partner institutions. Participants are invited to submit a work inspired by this theme:

Invention diagram, model, architectural or technological project, short story, poem, essay, comic strip, photograph, painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, video, or any other artistic form exploring a desirable, ecological, and collective future.

🎨 Prizes to be won:

1st prize: €500
2nd prize: €300
3rd prize: €200
And 20 prizes of €100

👥 Who can participate?

Individual students
Student groups (even if not formally organized)
All participants must be enrolled in a higher education institution that is a member or partner of PSL.
