Space for our planet

photo fête de la science

Space is an unlimited field of exploration for scientific research. Those who have ventured beyond our atmosphere feel fascinated by the beauty and vulnerability of our planet Earth. Discover the innovations in space technologies and the solutions they bring for the ecological transition through 25 stories in images and in podcast.

In a world threatened by climate change, poverty, famine, war, and pandemics, the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development has identified 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to promote prosperity, global well-being, peace and partnerships, and keep us safe. 17 bold, game-changing steps are urgently needed to steer the world on a sustainable and resilient path.

The exhibition tells the critical role that Space should play in the United Nations 2030 Agenda. To that end, we interviewed 25 witnesses, from fishermen to astronauts, students to climate experts, to show how space technologies are playing a key role in achieving the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

In the race to conquer space, we must ensure that our ultimate goal is etablishing a sustainable, preserved, poverty-free, and peaceful planet.
