Simulations of international negotiation conferences

The mission of the MUN PSL non-profit organization is to bring together PSL students and prepare them for the MUN (Model United Nations), a large-scale simulation of UN conferences.

The activity consists of gathering delegations of students from all over the world for a few days and have them debate, mainly in English, on subjects of global significance such as nuclear proliferation or global warming, the same way as United Nations delegates do. This is an opportunity to practice the art of debate, which is the main tool for citizen participation, by meeting other cultures, other ways of thinking and expressing themselves.

In February, a simulation of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union on the issue of famine as a weapon of war (05/02) and a simulation of an EU Council meeting to discuss green energy (19/02) will take place.

MUN PSL was awarded funding through the 2021 PSL Student Initiatives call for proposals.
