The PSL University Doctoral School of Cognitive Science was born out of the ambition to create a competitive doctoral school at the highest national and international level, supported by teams conducting cutting-edge research in cognitive science at the frontier of knowledge and its applications in society, and providing doctoral students with a solid conceptual and methodological foundation that will be an asset for their future integration into the professional world. The Department of Cognitive Studies at the École Normale Supérieure is a unique, interdisciplinary department for fundamental and applied research and training in cognitive science. It is located at the crossroads of the humanities, social sciences, life sciences, engineering, and computer science. The Department's 50 high-level HDR researchers study the full range of human cognition, integrating a wide array of theoretical tools and experimental techniques.
