Doctoral mobility (Erasmus +)
Are you a doctoral student at Université PSL and interested in gaining international experience?
Starting in the 2025 academic year, PSL is launching the “PSL-BRIDGE” (Building Research Initiatives for Doctoral Growth in Europe) doctoral mobility consortium as part of the Erasmus+ program.
This program is open to all doctoral students enrolled at Université PSL.
The objectives of the program are to:
- Encourage mobility within Europe among leading higher education institutions and research organizations
- Expand the scientific networks of young researchers
- Develop technical and soft skills
- Contribute to the development of the university's scientific collaborations
Type of Erasmus+ Mobility
Depending on your status (student or staff) you may apply for different types of study abroad programs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be enrolled in a doctoral program at PSL University for the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 academic years
- Be working on a dissertation at one of the member schools of PSL
- Ph.D. students who have previously received mobility grants may apply but will not be given priority
- Eligible mobility starting in February 2026, minimum 5 days within the 6-month funding period; your stay may be extended beyond the 6-month funding period
- Participation in conferences or seminars is not eligible
Calendar

- Selection and notifications to applicants: June 2026
- Mobility period: September 2026 – July 2027
Application and Selection Procedure
- Download the application form.
- Submit your application to the international relations office of the institution where you are pursuing your thesis (or the Research Office at Dauphine). Note: The opening dates for applications will vary by institution.
- A selection committee composed of representatives from the institutions’ international relations and research offices, as well as graduate program directors, will review the applications, select the candidates, and notify the successful applicants.
- An Erasmus+ application form to be completed will be provided to you by the international relations office at your institution (or the Research Office at Dauphine).
- Once completed, this form will be forwarded to the PSL Office of International Relations, which will then process the payment of your scholarship.

Monthly grant amounts are determined based on the destination country and the associated cost of living.

Travel costs
Travel expenses are partially covered through a flat-rate allowance, calculated based on distance from Paris. Eco-friendly modes of transportation include trains, buses, and carpooling.

Allowances
- A monthly allowance of 150 euros is provided for doctoral students participating in internship mobility programs (not applicable to short-term mobility stays of less than two months)
- Students with disabilities may be eligible for additional assistance to cover costs related to specific needs during mobility. Please contact the consortium representative at your institution (listed below).
- For students from underrepresented groups, an inclusion supplement of 250 euros per month (for student mobility periods longer than two months) is added to the living expenses allowance. See the table below for eligibility criteria and the supporting documents to be provided.
- For short-term mobility (5 to 30 days), the inclusion supplement is 100 euros if the duration of the stay is 14 days or less, and 150 euros if it is longer.
