The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities
Since 2023, Université PSL has been a member of The Guild, a network founded to strengthen the voice of research universities in Europe. This network brings together 23 prestigious institutions in 17 countries, all committed to cutting-edge research and excellence in education.

Founded in 2016, The Guild brings together some of Europe's most distinguished universities with a mission to :
• Defend academic freedom and research integrity
• Promote excellence in higher education
• Create new knowledge for the benefit of society, culture and the economy
• Strengthen the voice of researchers and students in European debates
Faced with major scientific and societal challenges, The Guild offers a concerted and ambitious response, in collaboration with the public, private and voluntary sectors. The network acts to:
• Influence European policies on research, innovation and education
• Promote public-private partnerships
• Encourage interdisciplinarity and international collaboration
• Support inclusivity and equity in higher education
PSL, a strategic factor within The Guild
As an active member, PSL participates in the network's thematic working groups, mobilising its experts on key topics such as:
• European research, innovation and higher education policies
• Academic and scientific collaborations
• Institutional strengthening
This involvement enables PSL to contribute to the formulation of strategic recommendations and targeted proposals for European institutions.
