Intervenants à la conférence MSCA - Paolo Tomassetti

Paolo Tomassetti is Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the Centre de droit social of Aix-Marseille University.

Paolo Tomassetti is part of the project “GRETA – Groundbreaking Research on Employment and Environmental Transition Ahead” which received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie line. Paolo’s research focuses on how to make labour law more responsive to contemporary societal needs, including those concerned with the global ecological crisis and the energy transition. Precisely, he looks at legal institutions and social practices to deconstruct the seeming conflict between labour and the environment, by shifting from a linear to a systemic type of protection in which both values are pursued simultaneously. Paolo recently joined the University of Milan as an Assistant Professor in labour law (part-time) and the European Trade Union Institute as an Associate Researcher. In the last few years, he coordinated several research projects co-funded by the D.G. Employment and Social Affairs & Inclusion of the European Commission. The outcomes of his research are published in international peer-reviewed labour law and industrial relations journals.

He will take part in the 2022 MSCA conference, in the fourth workshop on the Green charter in research projects.
