Call for applications for the position of President of the PSL Foundation

The President of the Board of Directors:

• Prepares the Foundation’s strategy and oversees its implementation; 
• Presides over meetings of the Board of Directors, oversees the preparations and ensures that the Board’s deliberations are carried out;
• Represents the Foundation before third parties as well as in court proceedings and all public proceedings;
• Enters into contracts and agreements;
• Has authority over all Foundation personnel;
• Recognizes revenue and settles expenditures.

The position requires high-level professional experience and expertise in:

• The exercise of management responsibilities for an institute of higher education or foundation;
• Management and operational administration of projects;
• Change management.

In addition, it requires:

• A thorough familiarity with the worlds of research, higher education and innovation, in France and worldwide;
• A thorough familiarity with the worlds of business and research & development, in France and worldwide;
• A sense of organization, consensus and innovation;
• The ability to adapt quickly and easily;
• Excellent communication and listening skills and powers of expression.

The successful candidate for the position will need to have extensive experience in similar environments.
