On Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, join us for the European Heritage Days and discover the history and rich heritage of Université PSL's institutions. 

Mines Paris - PSL, the École nationale supérieure d’architecture Paris-Malaquais – PSL, the Paris Observatory - PSL, the Collège de France, the Curie Museum, and the École nationale des chartes - PSL are opening their doors to offer you tours, games, lectures, book signings, and many other opportunities for discovery!

 

Discover the living heritage of Mines Paris - PSL. In the extraordinary setting of the Hôtel de Vendôme, this is your chance to delve into the history of the École des Mines, as well as to explore its Mineralogy Museum, its library, and its current initiatives!

Have you heard of the Ecole nationale supérieure d'architecture Paris-Malaquais - PSL ? The school invites you to visit on Saturday, September 19, where you’ll have the opportunity to sketch alongside the students and explore the Galerie Calot—a newly opened exhibition space just a stone’s throw away—through a guided tour and a series of talks.

The Ecole nationale supérieure d'architecture Paris-Malaquais - PSL is located on the same campus as the Beaux-Arts de Paris, a partner of Université PSL, which will be open to the public on this special occasion for both self-guided and guided tours and will offer several educational activities organized by the Beaux-Arts team.

Two locations for twice the history and discovery! The Observatoire de Paris - PSL welcomes you on Saturday, September 19, at its historic site in Meudon, and on Sunday, September 20, at its Paris location! Giant domes, historic buildings—a true immersion in the cradle of astrophysics research!

On September 19 and 20, step inside an institution that will soon celebrate its 5th century of existence: the Collège de France! Enjoy lectures, book signings, a guided tour for children, and a journey through the history of the place!

Since 2016, the library of the École nationale des chartes - PSL has been located within the Quadrilatère Richelieu. Take a journey through several centuries of French architecture and cultural history in this former palace of Cardinal Mazarin, which also houses the curatorial department of the Institut national du patrimoine (INP), the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF), and the Institut national de l'histoire de l'art (INHA).

At the heart of the Institut Curie stands Marie Curie’s former office, which is still there today. The space has even become the Curie Museum, which traces the history of this illustrious family! The museum welcomes visitors for self-guided tours and two special events: a tour of the archives and treasures on Saturdays, and a tour in French Sign Language (LSF) on Sundays.

Immerse yourself in the heart of scientific heritage as you explore instruments and faithful recreations of historic experiments conducted at ESPCI Paris - PSL. This is your chance to discover Pierre and Marie Curie’s radioactivity experiment, Paul Langevin’s first sonar, Curie’s experiment on magnetism, and even Féry’s telescope!
