PSL joins the Entente Cordiale Day
In 2025, Université PSL joined the Entente Cordiale Day, an initiative placed under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron and supported by His Majesty King Charles III.
Created in tribute to the Entente Cordiale signed in 1904, this initiative aims to strengthen Franco-British ties through youth and higher education. Each year, it brings together students and alumni from leading British universities (Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL, King’s College, Imperial College) and French institutions (Université PSL, Panthéon-Sorbonne, Sciences Po, CentraleSupélec, ESSEC, etc.).
The University Challenge of the Entente Cordiale Prizes
Each edition takes the form of an international student competition:
- Teams of three students work on a major global issue.
- They draft a report and defend their proposals before a jury of experts during a grand final held in both London and Paris.
- The best teams are invited to present their recommendations in prestigious venues such as the Élysée Palace and Buckingham Palace, gaining exceptional visibility for their work.
