Research, innovation, impact: Université PSL at VivaTech 2026
From 17 to 20 June, Université PSL will be taking part for the first time in VivaTech, Europe’s leading innovation event. Researchers, entrepreneurs and start-ups from its member institutions will be presenting innovations developed in strategic fields such as artificial intelligence, quantum technology, healthcare, energy and green technology.
Hall 7 – Zone B – Stand 2C01 - Paris Expo Porte de Versailles
Through this first participation, Université PSL will highlight how a research-intensive university transforms scientific research into technological innovations, deep-tech start-ups and industrial partnerships.
The stand will feature teams from the PSL Innovation Hub as well as the PR[AI]RIE-PSAI AI Cluster, which brings together more than 125 researchers specialising in artificial intelligence.
A new generation of deep tech startups emerging from PSL laboratories
Around twenty projects developed in the laboratories of Université PSL will be on hand to meet industry professionals and the general public at the exhibition. They follow in the footsteps of companies such as AQEMIA and LightON, which also originated in the university’s laboratories.

A programme at the intersection of research and innovation
Over the course of four days, the PSL stand will welcome researchers, entrepreneurs, start-ups and innovation leaders from the university’s institutions.
Wednesday 17 to Friday 19 June
In its talk area, the PSL stand will host demonstrations, meetings and discussions to illustrate how scientific research is transformed into technological, entrepreneurial and industrial innovations.
Every late afternoon, start-ups supported by the PÉPITE PSL programme and the incubators of Université Paris Dauphine-PSL will also pitch their projects at the stand.
Saturday 20 June — VivaTech Festival
As part of the public open day, researchers and PhD students from PSL institutions will be hosting talks, demonstrations and interactive sessions focusing on artificial intelligence, health and major innovations arising from research. Visitors will have the opportunity to attend a session on the history of artificial intelligence with Matthieu Husson (Observatoire de Paris – PSL), as well as the work of several PhD students and early-career researchers invited to present their projects and research.
The human resources and training teams will also be present to showcase the careers and training opportunities available at the university and its constituent institutions.
The PSL Innovation Hub takes centre stage at the stand
Throughout the exhibition, teams from the PSL Innovation Hub (PUI or University Innovation Hub) will be on hand at the stand to present the initiatives that support the transformation of research into technological, economic and entrepreneurial innovations.
Structured around six key areas of focus, the PSL Innovation Hub supports every stage of the innovation journey:
- Steering and communication: coordinating the Cluster’s activities and raising the profile of the ecosystem
- Awareness-raising and identification: fostering the emergence of projects, ideation and the early identification of high-potential innovations
- Partnership-based research: developing collaborations with businesses and facilitating industrial partners’ access to PSL’s expertise
- Transfer : simplify and strengthen technology and knowledge transfer processes
- Business creation and support: supporting the creation and development of deep-tech start-ups emerging from research laboratories
- Platforms and facilities: facilitating access to state-of-the-art scientific and technological infrastructure
