META SOFT MATTER
Université PSL supports the METASOFT Major Programme, which focuses on several areas of research, such as ‘soft robotics’, combining expertise in design, robotics, soft matter and metamaterials. It is also interested in complex fluids and amorphous solids, strategic subjects from an industrial point of view. The programme also includes an experimental component focusing on water recycling and CO² recovery.
The main areas of research
-
Soft materials and flexible robotics: Combining expertise in soft materials, metamaterials, flexible robotics and design to invent the flexible robots of the future.
-
Complex fluids and amorphous solids: Investing in research into complex fluids and amorphous solids, which are essential for strategic industrial applications.
-
Environmental impact: Developing innovative strategies to complement current efforts in recycling, water management and CO² recovery.
