Student healthcare services

Remaining happy, comfortable in your body and mind is essential for the success of your academic life. A shared health service, offering preventive medicine consultations as well as in-person and remote medical consultations, is available to you at PSL. Entirely free of charge, it is available to PSL students.

Student healthcare service

The student health service is available by appointment from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm. It includes a preventive medicine center and another center for psychological prevention and support

  • The preventive medicine center is available to students for consultations, and also when students need certificates of aptitude for sports at PSL (except for competitions), or for students to perform visual and hearing tests. The preventive medicine appointments are an opportunity for a complete check-up. For students with disabilities, requests for study and exam adaptations will be investigated and a follow-up will be done throughout the academic years.
  • The PPOP (Pôle de Prévention et d'Orientation Psychologique, psychological prevention and support center) is available for students to talk with a qualified healthcare professionnal about their problems, worries, and questions, under strictly confidential conditions; to find psychological support and guidance; to report a problematic situation, whether it is a fellow student, an staff member, or a teacher; and to be offered independant support if necessary. There are no forbideen topics and anything on your mind can be discussed. The interviews are strictly confidential and are availble in several languages for international students (English, Spanish and Russian). For remote students (internships abroad...) video appointments can be set up.

Please note: preventive medicine does not replace a typical medical consultation, e.g. you will not be prescribed medication; if you need a typical medical appointment, please contact Qare service. The PPOP does not replace a psychiatric appointment nor a psychotherapy. However the PPOP may help you identify the right person you want to talk with.

    Remote consultation available 7 days/week, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Whatever the reasons, sometimes it's difficult to consult and find the time necessary to your health.

Université PSL allows you to consult a doctor on video without going to the office and without advance payment, 7 days a week, from 7 am to 11 pm. Consultations are free of charge, only the carte vitale is required.

Once you enrolled in your host school, you will receive an email from Qare on your student email address in order to activate your account.

You can make an appointment with the doctor of your choice among more than 40 specialties, such as general medicine, dermatologists, addictologists, nutritionist, cardiologists, gynecologist, sexologists, sports doctor... There is no limit to the number of appointments.
You can also choose to have your preventive medicine visit through this service by consulting a general practitioner. In this case, you will have to specify in your consultation request "preventive medicine visit".

As with an office appointment, you choose the doctor and the schedule. At the end of your video consultation, you will receive a prescription if necessary.

Q&R about Qare remote appointment service

    How to make an appointment?

By connecting to the application or the Qare website with your login and password. The search bar enables you to select practitioners and specialties, choose your time slot- and your appointment is made.
To find out your login and password: an email activating your account has been sent to the address you gave when you registered at the School (don't forget to check your spam folder). It gives you access to the Qare platform and application. If you didn't receive it, feel free to send an email to Qare's customer service. You can also try to connect to the website directly with your student email address. If you are already registered by your institution, the system should recognize you automatically.

How do I make sure the service is available to me?

Qare is available to all PSL students who have paid the CVEC and who are not dependent on their institution's occupational health system (ENC - PSL civil servant internship).
If you did not receive the activation email, feel free to send an email to Qare customer service. You can also try to connect to the site directly with your student email address. If you are already registered by your institution, the system should recognize you automatically.

Is the student health service available to me as an international student?

Yes, you can benefit from Qare regardless of your nationality, as long as you are enrolled at PSL and subscribe to the CVEC tax. Your social security number will be required. If you have not yet received it, please contact the Welcome Desk to assist you in your application.

I lost my login & password, how can I retrieve them?

It's easy, just visit the Qare website and enter your school email address, then click on "Reset my password", and follow the steps.

Your new password must meet the following criteria: at least of 6 characters, including at least one lower case, at least one upper case, one number and one special character.

Do I need to pay fees before I'm reimbursed?

With the Qare - PSL partnership, you have free access to more than 40 specialties, for which you will not have to pay fees. Consultations are completely free of charge.

Please note, however, that when you select a practitioner, the "payment" tab appears. It is possible that the specialty of this specific practitioner is not included in the Qare x PSL partnership, or that your account is not properly configured.

If the payment tabs appear, please contact Qare customer service to solve the issue.

Do I need a social security number?

The social security number is required to make appointments. It is also strongly recommended to get to a complementary health insurance.

How does Qare service ensure my personal data is safe?

    Before your account is activated:
Qare does not have any data on you other than your school email address. You can request this address to be removed by contacting Qare customer service.

    After your account is activated:
All of your data is stored at an approved Health Data Host, OVH, which guarantees the integrity and confidentiality of your data.

All Qare employees are also bound by medical secrecy. Your appointments, the doctors you visit and your personal data on Qare are not available by your host school. Everything is confidential and secure.

    After you leave PSL:
Your Qare account will still exist, but you the free service will ne longer be available to you. You can either keep it and continue to use remote consultation (in which case your data will be kept in the same way as before), or you can ask for your account and associated data to be deleted.
