They Make PSL: International Day of Women and Girls in Science

33% of researchers worldwide are women, according to UNESCO data released today, on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. While this percentage is increasing, the evolution remains slow and the invisibility of women in science continues on a global scale.

To inspire future generations, to help fight stereotypes, especially on this particular day, female scientists in the PSL Community are featured on the websites and social network of our Schools. Their portraits, stories, and projects are to be found with #EllesFontPSL.

 

 

International Award for Women In Science, by L'Oréal-UNESCO

Université PSL also congratulates Françoise Combes for the prize she was awarded. Former student of the ENS - PSL, professor of the Collège de France and astrophysicist at the Observatoire de Paris - PSL, Françoise Combes is the European laureate of the L'Oréal-UNESCO 2021 International Prize for Women in Science.
